Sri Annai Kamakshi Music and Fine Arts College offers B.A. Music and Bharatanatyam, B.F.A. Painting, and B.F.A. Visual Communication graduate programs as per the Tamil Nadu Dr. J Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University’s prescribed syllabus. These courses will provide a holistic approach to the theoretical and practical language of painting, VISCOM, and music.
At the end of our programs, students are well equipped with intensive training at the collegiate level. We have designed our programs to give you choice and flexibility and to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed for a career in the creative industries.
The 2 Years PG programme is designed to cover all facets of art education including Art History, Visual Media and Studio Practice. This courses is divided into Four semesters and cover periods from Ancient to Modern art in India and in the West. Studio-based practical courses are designed to equip students with skills in drawing, painting, design and visual media.

The Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design focuses on visual communication, typography, and graphic design. Students who graduate from the program are equipped with a broad range of practices in the design field, including advertising, information design, branding, editorial design and illustration, motion graphics, animation, type design, interaction design, user-centered design (UX/UI), and cross-disciplinary design fields.

Visual communication designers create visual stories through physical and digital platforms. The application of their work can be used to inspire or to sell a product – either way they must captivate their audience.

Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design or BFA Textile Design is an undergraduate programme that runs for a duration of four years. The course is offered through a full-time, regular mode and candidates who have completed class 12th or its equivalent can apply for admission in BFA Textile Design.
BFA Textile Design covers topics such as knitted, woven or printed fabrics, embroidery designs, texturing, colour detailing etc. The course provides wings to the creative edge people. It talks about the incorporation of textiles and creating a dimensional approach towards patterns in clothing.

Print making focuses on the study of Print Making techniques such as etching, lithography and relief printing as well as design principals and visual communication. Sculpture degree is a four year UG programme that prepares students for professionals in sculpture, Three dimensional art and related subjects. The Programme focuses on growing technical abilities and creating an artistic voice via the examination of diverse materials and techniques.
Sculpture programmes often require students to finish a certain number of credits in art history, art theory, and studio courses. Studio courses allow students to explore with numerous materials and techniques such as clay, metal, wood, and found objects.
