Sri Annai Kamakshi Music and Fine arts College established in the year 2015 as an ambitious initiative of its founder, Chennai based artist Thiru.S.Venkatachalapathy(Achalam) MFA. Our is approved and affiliated with the Govt of Tamilnadu The Tamilnadu Dr.J.Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University. The Mission of the college is to Train, Educate and Motivate. Our College is the First Private college for fine arts in Chennai.
Our Principal
Thiru.S.Venkatachalapathy(Achalam) MFA, is the founder, Architect and Brain behind two unique institutions Sri Annai Kamakshi Kalaikudam and Sri Annai Kamakshi Music and Fine Arts College. Achalam has finished Masters in Fine arts (Painting) from the Govt. College of Fine Arts, Chennai. Achalam has participated in many Individual and Group shows. He has worked for many art and craft companies through which he has exported his painting to many foreign countries. He is a living encyclopedia promoting the beauty and pride of fine art painting to the whole world.

Dedication
The college is dedicated, to promote, popularize and perpetuate the Indian traditional gurukula art forms of Bharathanatyam and south Indian Classical Music – Veena, flute, violinalong with painting and sculpture making in their pristine purity. Yes, considering the true nature of Music, we have a broad view of music, not confined to one kind of musical genre or tradition.
