Sri Annai Kamakshi Music and Fine Arts College is an ambitious initiative of Sri Annai Kamakshi Kalaikudam,a pioneer in the field of Art Education. It consummates the great vision of its founder, Chennai-based artist S. Venkatachalapathy, M.F.A, (Achalam) whose work since 1993 has been exhibited worldwide and received encomiums everywhere. With the guidance and cooperation of many artists and personalities of the music world, Sri Annai Kamakshi Music and Fine Arts College came into being in 2015.

Courses Offered
I’m S. Anusha, a final year student of Sri Annai Kamakshi Music and Fine Arts College, Chennai. It has been an enriching journey through these years of my taking up BFA with the institution, which not only offers a variety of courses in Arts, but with able guidance of experienced faculty, and organizing of inspiring workshops, provides a lot of exposure and expands horizons for students.
The encouragement of our Director Mr. Achalam Sir, under whose direct supervision knowledge is imparted, is a well-known artist, whose very presence is highly motivating.
I have learnt to work in different media with confidence, and have participated in group exhibitions conducted by the Kalaikudam and Achalam Art Gallery. These have not just been experiences, but have been opportunities to meet eminent artists who have also been part of these shows.
The calming ambience of the campus, with walls adorning paintings, kindles creativity, and I’m honoured to be associated with this esteemed institution.
